If you plan to upload your own PDFs, the Imagick PHP extension lets Attestra read any of them; without it, PDFs whose pages are each a single full-page image still work, which covers scans and most print output. JPG, PNG and WebP always work. Most hosts have Imagick already, and any host will enable it on request.

No. You can generate certificates from a template you build per category, or bring a document you already have — a signed licence, an awarding body's own artwork, a scan of something printed years ago. Upload a PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP, drag the QR code onto a clear part of the page, and issue. The file is kept exactly as it is; the code goes on a copy. Multi-page PDFs keep every page, and the code can sit on one page or repeat on all of them for reports whose pages get separated.

Three ways, none of which need an account. They scan the QR code printed on the document, they type the credential ID into your lookup page, or they upload the certificate file itself and Attestra reads the code off it. The verification page is on your own site, under your own domain.

It stays verifiable and says what it is. An expired credential reports as expired; a withdrawn one reports as withdrawn along with the reason you gave, which is shown to whoever is checking. Nothing is deleted and no link ever breaks — a record that simply vanished would look like a mistake on your side rather than an answer.

Yes. Bulk import from CSV maps your columns onto the fields your category collects, so a spreadsheet of past awards becomes a set of verifiable records in one pass rather than one form at a time.

Yes. Each category has its own ID pattern, and once an ID is issued it never changes — not when you amend the record, move it between batches or withdraw it. Codes already printed and links already sent keep working.

A key is registered to one site and only works on that site. If you are moving to a new domain, rebuilding, or shifting to a different server, email us with the old address and the new one and we will move the key across for you.
