Attestra has shipped continuously since January 2022. Features land every few months, security fixes ship the day they're ready, and every release is free while your licence is active.

Licence messaging and the new home

  • ImprovedAttestra now runs on attestrasolutions.online. The licence server, pricing links and update checks all point at the new address, and existing installs can be moved by setting the endpoint in wp-config.php.
  • FixedA licence key issued for a different site produced a warning that named your own domain twice — "registered to example.com but the site is running on example.com". It now names the domain the key actually belongs to, so the mismatch is obvious at a glance.
  • FixedA rejected key no longer overwrites the stored record of the licence your site legitimately holds.

Verification speed and bulk tooling

  • NewCSV import profiles — save a column mapping once and reuse it for every future import.
  • NewBatch PDF export for a whole category, delivered as a single zip.
  • ImprovedVerification lookups are roughly 40% faster on large record sets thanks to a new index on credential ID.
  • ImprovedThe lookup portal now handles a mistyped ID gracefully instead of returning a blank result.
  • FixedFixed landscape PDFs clipping the signature block on certain A4 printer margins.
  • FixedExpiry transitions no longer skip a day for sites running a non-UTC timezone.

Renewal reminders

  • NewAutomatic reminder emails to holders before a credential expires, on a schedule you set.
  • NewBulk revoke from the records list, with one shared reason applied to the selection.
  • ImprovedMobile PDF fallback now kicks in automatically on devices that can't render locally.
  • FixedTags containing an ampersand broke the public register filter.

Migration tooling

  • NewImporter for records held in other certificate plugins, mapped through the standard CSV flow.

  • NewHandover licences — pass a site to a client so they keep receiving updates under their own key.

  • NewNew lookup portal showing the four-step check chain — record found, signature matched, not revoked, within validity.

  • FixedVerification pages were not always cached correctly behind a CDN.

Updating is safe. Attestra never changes your credential data on upgrade. We'd still recommend a database backup before any plugin update — that's good practice regardless of who wrote the plugin.
